This includes statistical tool for the analysis of modern data. Also, concepts of regression and prediction, the bootstrap re-sampling method in estimation, the fundamentals of ANOVA, and cross-validation are provided. More emphasis is given on conceptions rather than theories. Also social or biological sciences applications are included and the assignments or projects of the students would require the use of the statistical software R.
